Hello, I plan to move out, so that is why I am subletting this room. *About the room* It is a 1 bedroom with a private bathroom, sufficient for a single bed, wardrobe, desk, and some extra furniture, perfect for one person. Every tenant can use extra storage cells for free, so there is some additional space just in case (I store my luggage bags there). *About the accommodation* In general, this accommodation (Voll Studentby) hosts a lot of young people from diverse backgrounds (university students and even young employees, such as PhDs and PostDocs) and arranges various activities, such as free pizzas, games, and workouts, so it is a very lively place to live in. There have been some new renovations recently, so you can enjoy the newly designed common areas, such as the library room, cinema room, laundry, etc. The hosts are nice and they are happy to assist you and fix things upon request. Communication is done mostly via the Hybel chat and receive reply on the same day or via calls on urgent matters. In case you need to fix things or need a particular tool (drill, screwdriver, etc.) you can borrow from them as well. They also make sure that all tenants are well informed and trained with safety issues, such as fire alarms, etc. which is very important and fun to learn! *Why I recommend this place* The main reasons why I recommend this place are: 1. The room is well heat/sound insulated, so you do not have to worry much about the Norwegian cold. The bathroom floor is also regulated with a thermostat. 2. There is a shared kitchen, which is supposed to be shared among 7 people, but currently, there are only 3 males (including me), which means that the floor is generally very quiet, barely occupied, with lots of storage space and nice people. 3. There are 4 supermarkets (Extra, Meny, Kiwi, and Rema), a pharmacy, a pizza restaurant, and a cross-fit, all at short distances, which is super convenient. 4. There is a bus stop right next to the accommodation, so you can easily commute anywhere with ease. 5. Most importantly, it is generally hard to find a place in this season (typical contracts begin from 1st of August), for short-term (typical contracts last for 1 year), at this price with everything included (the electricity is extra but I am subletting this room at a fixed price), and without deposit (typical contracts ask for a deposit of 2 or 3 months in advance), so it is perfect if you are coming from abroad or you are first time in Trondheim and would like to settle in.
