One spare bedroom in a spacious detached house in Manglerud! I am moving out, and there is one free room in the collective in Magnefaret 12. The room is approx. 13 square meters. We rent the first floor of a detached house. The owners are a nice married couple who live on the ground floor. The rent for the room is NOK 4,000 per month. Electricity and internet are not included. They come at extra cost every month. Currently internet is Nok 242 every month whiles electricity is as low as Nok 250 during summer months and as high as Nok 800 during winter months. The costs described are per person. Available from: 27th November 2024 to 28th February 2025. A little about the place: We have a cozy kitchen with various kitchen equipment already, a shared bathroom and washing machine. We also have one spacious living room with a fireplace that is in use, and one spacious balcony with evening sun. You can see details in the pictures above. A little about the surroundings: The property is on Manglerud in a quiet area. It is easy to get to the city center within 22 minutes (17 minutes on the bus + 5 mins of walking). The 70 bus goes directly to Jernbanetorget, and it is only a five-minute walk to the bus stop from the house. There are also subways from the Manglerud subway stop, and it is approx. 10 minutes walking distance from the house to that subway stop. There are several grocery stores within walking distance, for example Kiwi and Rema 1000 (5 mins away from the house), and Manglerud center is only 10 minutes away. For those who like exercise, there is a fitness center and swimming center nearby, just 10 mins away when walking to that place. The same is true, for example, of Østensjøvannet and Nøklevannet, which are suitable for walking and jogging. Currently, the other two people living there are 1 Norwegian (Sveinung) and 1 Nigerian (Austin). They both are done with school now and are working now. They are mostly not at home until in the evenings and on weekends. I have a double bed in the room already if you would like to have it. I also have a small table, and a working office desk + chair which is up for grabs at a small fee if you would like to have it as well (I usually used to work from home and so I was using it a lot).
