BOTH LONG-TERM AND SHORT-TERM CONTRACTS ARE POSSIBLE. Hi! We are two female flatmates looking for a third female flatmate 😊 The apartment is situated in calm surroundings at Øya, within walking distance of the city center, NTNU (Gløshaugen, Øya and Kalvskinnet campuses), and the St. Olav Hospital. The apartment is right next to a pleasant bike and pedestrian path along the Nidelva River, and a short minute walk away, there is a stadium which anyone can access for free for running and working out. The park area between the stadium and the river is also nice for doing yoga and working out in. There are even a couple of “stations” with strengthening devices. Our apartment, including the bedrooms are fully furnished and equipped. There is no shared living room, but all the rooms are big enough to function as living rooms with a sofa, an armchair, and a coffee table, and we appreciate a chat in the kitchen 😊 For the room available, there are different contracts to choose between: 1. Binding period until , starting between the 1st of April and the 1st of May or on the 1st of August: 6,200 NOK/month 2. Binding period within : 6,500 NOK/month for 4 months, 8,000 NOK/month for 3 months, 10,000 NOK/month for 2 months and 15,000 NOK for 1 month. The electricity costs are added to the rent. Because the flat is on the ground floor, with a cold basement underneath, we, unfortunately, use a bit of energy to heat up the flat. The last calculation showed that the expense per person per month is around 650 NOK in average. Each tenant must pay for her consume in advance – 700 NOK per month. When a tenant moves out, the costs will be calculated. If the tenants have paid too much, they will be refunded the excess amount. If they have paid too little, they must pay the difference to the landlord. Sublease is allowed if both tenants and the landlord approve the sublease candidate. Smoking and pets are not allowed. We also have restrictions regarding parties and sleepovers. Who are we? Hannah is 28 years old and from Germany. She will be spending a year in Trondheim as part of an Erasmus exchange program at NTNU. Besides her studies, Hannah enjoys cooking, doing sports, and spending time with friends. She also loves meaningful conversations and going to cultural activities such as concerts, theater, or cinema. Hanna is Norwegian, 25 years old and doing a bachelor’s degree in aquaculture engineering. Last semester, she did an exchange in Tasmania, Australia. In her spare time she likes climbing, hiking and skiing as well as being social. Note that we will both move out soon: Hannah in the beginning of June; Hanna by the end of May. In June, Kristine moves in. She’s in her second year in physiotherapy school. She will be living in our flat for at least 13 months. And then, there will hopefully be another young woman moving in in July. As a tenant/flat mate, you have the chance to influence the selection process if you like. Who are we looking for? It would be an advantage if we were roughly the same age, but we are aware that there are not many people our age who want or need to live in a shared apartment. Sharing some of our interests would be nice, but is not an expectation. The most important thing is that we get along and can appreciate sharing flat. We who live here already have each our busy lives, and our social lives take place elsewhere than at home. We appreciate a chat in the kitchen and a shared dinner occasionally, but it’s also totally fine to “charge one’s batteries” in each our rooms. Another thing that is important to us is that we are being considerate towards each other, by for instance tidying up after ourselves in the common areas and by being quiet when someone has gone to bed.
